It is the ending and beginning of the Celtic New Year, affirming rebirth in the midst of death and darkness. A theme for the great changes of our time!
Samhain like Beltain, is a magical time when the veil between the seen world of matter and the unseen world of spirit becomes thin. It is a time for communication with the Ancestors, a time for divination, omens, portents and seeking the mysteries of life.
In Mexico the Day of the Dead is a celebration of death, a joyful homage to loved ones that have been lost, and an opportunity to reflect on the precious gift of life. It goes back to the Aztec, Toltec and other indigenous people, who considered death as part of life’s rich tapestry.
It is an opportunity to pause, to reflect, to connect with Life and Death and what is beyond it all. A time to connect and honour our ancestral lineages, and feel their loving support.
I’ve been holding Cacao Ceremonies with Sound Medicine (and teaching Kundalini Yoga) for many years and it is a great way to access your inner wisdom, clear out confusion and stuck energies. As we go into the dark months, it is a beautiful way to slow down, release and be open to what wants to come next.
It can be organised around any theme including Ancestral, Inner child, Womb/Sacred Source/Yoni Shakti and so on. Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
